John Mahoney Designs is proud to offer our first edition of carpet bags: the Iso Tote in an edition of sixty. John’s versatile Iso pattern has been used for area rugs, runners, upholstery, cushions — and now a tote. Our carpet bag is large portfolio size and features two small interior pockets, as well as a laptop pocket. Full grain leather straps are short enough to hold in hand and long enough to wear over the shoulder, and will mold to the wearer with use. Its generous but manageable size makes the Iso Tote ideal for shopping or a couple days away.

Carpetbaggers have never been more chic, but during Reconstruction in the South the term was used to describe opportunistic "yankees," who suffered scorn and attacks by hate-groups including the KKK.
